This award recognises a woman of colour who has made significant technological advancements or pioneered new technology approaches. 

Award Criteria

We invite nominations for women who have demonstrated exceptional quality and impact in their technological innovations. Applicants are encouraged to showcase their unique journeys in technology, highlighting the significance of their advancements, their influence on the industry, and their role in fostering innovation.

The award is open to all women of colour who have made meaningful contributions through their technological expertise, driving innovation, and advancing the field of technology. The judging panel values the diverse experiences and perspectives that each nominee brings, recognising that impactful technological advancements can manifest in many ways.

Nominations are open to anyone who wishes to recognise a deserving woman of colour in STEM. This can include colleagues, mentors, peers, or the nominees themselves. To nominate someone, please fill out the nomination form.

Winners are selected by an independent judging panel comprising experts and leaders in STEM fields. They will review all nominations and assess them based on the criteria outlined for each category.
