This award recognises a young woman of colour who shows promising leadership qualities and has made notable early career contributions to her industry.

Award Criteria

This award is open to emerging leaders who meet the following criteria:
– Up to 5 years of experience in the STEM industry, including allowances for career breaks or caring responsibilities
– Demonstrated strong leadership potential during the early stages of their career
– Proven contributions to the industry, with a clear record of impact or achievement
– Actively engaged in professional development and industry involvement through a proactive, initiative-driven approach

Nominations are open to anyone who wishes to recognise a deserving woman of colour in STEM. This can include colleagues, mentors, peers, or the nominees themselves. To nominate someone, please fill out the nomination form.

Winners are selected by an independent judging panel comprising experts and leaders in STEM fields. They will review all nominations and assess them based on the criteria outlined for each category.
