This award celebrates a woman of colour dedicated to mentoring others in STEM, guiding them in both professional and personal growth. 

Award Criteria

We invite nominations who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to mentoring as a part of the STEM Sisters Mentoring Program. Applicants are encouraged to showcase the number and success of their mentees, their dedication to mentoring, and the overall impact they have had on their mentees’ careers and personal development.

The judging panel will consider the tangible successes of your mentees, the extent of your commitment to their growth, and the positive influence you have had on their professional and personal lives

Nominations are open to anyone who wishes to recognise a deserving woman of colour in STEM. This can include colleagues, mentors, peers, or the nominees themselves. To nominate someone, please fill out the nomination form.

Winners are selected by an independent judging panel comprising experts and leaders in STEM fields. They will review all nominations and assess them based on the criteria outlined for each category.
