Our Why
At STEM Sisters, we believe in the power of diversity and the impact of inclusion. Women of colour are making incredible contributions, driving innovation, fostering growth and often face unique challenges and barriers in their careers.
Through these awards, we want to recognise their achievements, resilience and hard work thats driving change across STEM fields.

Create a platform that not only celebrates current leaders but also inspires the next generation of women to pursue and thrive in STEM careers.

Foster a supportive and empowering community to share stories, learn from each other, and build lasting connections.
STEM SISTERS IMPACT
Through our work with women in STEM as a part of STEM Sisters, we recognised a need for more visibility for women of colour thriving in these fields. This led to the creation of the Women of Colour in STEM Awards, an event dedicated to celebrating and empowering these trailblazers.
