Leadership Award

This award recognises a woman of colour who has demonstrated exceptional leadership within her organisation or the broader STEM community.

Award Criteria

We invite nominations for women who exhibit outstanding leadership effectiveness, influence, and a positive impact on their organisation or community. Applicants are encouraged to showcase their unique leadership journeys within the STEM fields, whether they lead small teams, large initiatives, or grassroots efforts.

The award is open to all women of colour who have made meaningful contributions through their leadership, fostering collaboration, driving innovation, mentoring others. 

The judging panel values the diverse experiences and perspectives that each nominee brings, recognising that leadership can manifest in many ways.

Nominations are open to anyone who wishes to recognise a deserving woman of colour in STEM. This can include colleagues, mentors, peers, or the nominees themselves. To nominate someone, please fill out the nomination form.

Winners are selected by an independent judging panel comprising experts and leaders in STEM fields. They will review all nominations and assess them based on the criteria outlined for each category.
