This award recognises a woman of colour who has conducted ground-breaking and innovative work in the field of mathematics with significant implications.

Award Criteria

We invite nominations for women of colour who have demonstrated exceptional innovation and contributions to the field of mathematics. Applicants are encouraged to showcase their unique journeys in mathematics, highlighting their innovative work, solutions to complex problems, and advancements in mathematical understanding.

The award is open to all women of colour who have made meaningful contributions through their research, teaching, or practical application of mathematics. The judging panel will consider how your work addresses complex mathematical challenges, advances the field, and inspires others in the mathematical community.

Nominations are open to anyone who wishes to recognise a deserving woman of colour in STEM. This can include colleagues, mentors, peers, or the nominees themselves. To nominate someone, please fill out the nomination form.

Winners are selected by an independent judging panel comprising experts and leaders in STEM fields. They will review all nominations and assess them based on the criteria outlined for each category.
