This award recognises a woman of colour who has made significant contributions to medical science, healthcare technology, or patient care. 

Award Criteria

We welcome applications from women of colour who have demonstrated innovations in medical procedures, improvements in healthcare delivery, or significant research contributions.

We encourage you to share your unique experiences and achievements in healthcare innovation. The judging panel will consider how your work addresses critical healthcare challenges, enhances patient care or improves practices within medical sciences.

Nominations are open to anyone who wishes to recognise a deserving woman of colour in STEM. This can include colleagues, mentors, peers, or the nominees themselves. To nominate someone, please fill out the nomination form.

Winners are selected by an independent judging panel comprising experts and leaders in STEM fields. They will review all nominations and assess them based on the criteria outlined for each category.
