These Awards are all about recognising and celebrating the exceptional contributions of Women of Colour in STEM across Australia. If you’re selected as a finalist, here’s how we’ll celebrate you: A feature in Magnify Magazine – a full-length article highlighting your journey, achievements, and impact. A digital poster profile – showcasing eight key highlights and up to ten images to spotlight your work. Media opportunities – including interviews, collaborations, and promotional features across networks. Recognition at the Awards Night – finalists will be celebrated on stage, and winners will be presented with an official trophy. We want your story to be seen, heard, and celebrated across the STEM sector and beyond. What you need to know: There is no fee to apply. If you are selected as one of the five finalists in your category, you’ll be required to: Complete a short video submission or attend an interview with our judging panel to support final winner selection. Purchase a ticket to the Awards Ceremony on 6 October 2025 in Melbourne (for either you or a representative). Provide content and images for both the Magnify Magazine feature and your digital poster profile. These are essential requirements to be formally recognised as a finalist and to remain in consideration for the final award decision. Please note that while we’re unable to provide individual feedback on applications, all submissions are carefully reviewed by an independent judging panel based on the published criteria.
