International Student Award

This award recognises a woman of colour studying in STEM who demonstrates academic excellence and leadership.

Award Criteria

We invite nominations for international students who have shown outstanding academic achievements, active engagement in campus STEM activities, and support of international student issues. Applicants are encouraged to showcase their unique academic journeys, leadership roles in STEM-related initiatives, and contributions to the international student community.

The award is open to all international students in STEM fields who have made meaningful contributions through their academic and leadership efforts. 

The judging panel will consider how your academic accomplishments stand out, your involvement in promoting STEM activities on campus, and your dedication to addressing and supporting issues faced by international students.

Nominations are open to anyone who wishes to recognise a deserving woman of colour in STEM. This can include colleagues, mentors, peers, or the nominees themselves. To nominate someone, please fill out the nomination form.

Winners are selected by an independent judging panel comprising experts and leaders in STEM fields. They will review all nominations and assess them based on the criteria outlined for each category.
